Pokemon GO Pawmi Spotlight Hour – Date, Time, and Bonuses
Pokemon GO’s first Spotlight Hour event for March 2024 is kicking off with Pawmi. This mini-event will take place on March 5, and run from 6 PM – 7 PM, local time.
During this hour, the number of Pawm that will appear in the wild will increase significantly, giving Trainers a chance to capture one to add to their collection, or even hunt down a little critter with some impressive stats. In addition to more Pawmi popping up around you as you adventure, any Pokemon that you evolve within this Spotlight Hour will earn double XP, so it’s a good idea to make the most of this bonus by evolving anything and everything you can.
To further increase XP gained during this event, players can choose to utilize any Lucky Eggs they may have lying around, as this will effectively double all XP gained for a timed duration, meaning you could earn up to 4X XP when evolving those Pokemon.
Pokemon GO Pawmi Spotlight Hour Shiny Rates, Explained
While many Spotlight Hour events are an opportunity to hunt down a new shiny due to the increased number of spawns, Pawmi’s Spotlight Hour is unfortunately shiny-locked, meaning no such chance will exist this time around.
This is because, at this point, there has been no shiny Pawmi debut in Pokemon GO as a whole, leaving the evolution line locked from their shiny forms in the meantime.
However, whilst Pawmi may not be next on your shiny hunting list, you can still use this opportunity to capture one or more of the little critters, and evolve them or search for some competitive PvP potential.
