Marvel Rivals: All Season 3.5 Competitive Rewards & How to Get Them

With each new Competitive Season that arrives in Marvel Rivals, a new set of competitive rewards becomes available for players to claim. This began with hero skins and Crests of Honour back in Season 0, but as of Season 3 and onward, additional rewards have been implemented for more ranks.

These new rewards include the latest additions of nameplate frames, which are another way for players to customize their profiles. If you’re wondering which competitive rewards are available in Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 and how to earn them, all relevant information has been included in the guide below.

How to Get All Season 3.5 Competitive Rewards in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals Emerald Phoenix and Emerald Blade Season 3.5 Competitive Rewards

In Marvel Rivals, players can earn their competitive rewards each season by playing the Competitive Play game mode and continuing to climb the ranks.

For every new rank that players reach starting Gold and above, there are unique rewards that can be earned on a Seasonal and Mid-Seasonal basis. In order to earn rewards, you must play at least 10 games of competitive within that season or mid-season run.

For example, in Season 3, players were able to earn the Phoenix Emerald skin by reaching Gold 3. Players in Platinum and Diamond gained new nameplate frames, and the Crest of Honour was up for grabs for those in GM and above.

In Season 3.5, the Emerald Phoenix skin is still available for players to earn, as well as the new Emerald Blade reward skin. However, the Phoenix-themed nameplate frames have now been replaced with new Symbiote frames for Season 3.5.

Players who reached the required ranks for the Season 3 items will have gained them when Season 3.5 kicks off, while those who reach Gold III and above only throughout Season 3.5 will need to wait until Season 4 drops to gain their 3.5 rewards.

At the very least, competitive rewards are given out based on peak rank for the season, not your final rank. This means that if you hit a peak of GM III but then fall back down to Diamond I before the end of the season, you will still gain your GM rewards.

Marvel Rivals: Season 3 – 3.5 Rank Resets

At the end of every seasonal run, Marvel Rivals implements rank resets for all players. When a new season begins, players can expect to drop about two and a half ranks lower than they finished the previous season.

For example, Season 2.5 Platinum players found themselves placed in Silver for Season 3.5, and Diamond Players had to start their climb up from Gold. However, mid-season updates thankfully place players right back at the exact same rank where they finished the first half of the season.

This means that while players won’t experience a drop during Season 3.5, the end rank that they reach during this time will influence where they are placed at the beginning of Season 4.

If players take a long break from the game across multiple seasons, they could very well expect to find that their rank has completely decayed. In these cases, players will likely find themselves back on the ground floor of Bronze III and forced to climb back up to their last rank once again.
